After covering 10 000km so far, meeting great people and demonstrating the MAX II in lots of different places, we are now entering the final leg of the trip.

After having a few days on the Gold Coast, we will be heading north, up the East Coast of Queensland.

Every step of the way we have had a great response and we would like to thank all our past, present and future customers for all their support and enthusiasm about MAX ATV's.

You have all made this trip very enjoyable!

ARE YOU INTERESTED???

Kununurra & Katherine Shows proved to be very successful, with numerous people keen to find out more about the ins and outs of the MAX models.

So we decided to give people the opportunity to see a MAX up close in their area - on our upcoming road trip, beginning mid September.

We will be travelling through the middle of this great country to South Australia, Victoria and up the East Coast to cut across at Townsville, back to Darwin.

If you are considering an amphibious vehicle for work or play, or have any questions about the manoeuvrability and performance of the MAX compared to other AATV's, give us a call and we can arrange to meet with you for your personal demonstration!

It's as easy as that!

Catch up with you soon!

Awesome ride!

We finally escaped our busy working lives to get out and take our Maxes for a spin.

And what perfect day it was! It rained heavily the week before, so the country was really waterlogged...perfect to go and explore the back of Yarrawonga swamp. I've never seen this area that way, there was water as far as you could see, and we made our own track in between the gumtrees. Lucky our friend knows the area really well so we just followed his lead. Both Max II's were swimming most of the time whereas my Buffalo truck touched the bottom every now and again -with a little help from our two dogs as ballast.

The scenery changed from trees to incredible high spear grass and reed covered black soil swamp. It was hard going when you fell in the same wheel ruts, as it just tried to suck you in. I couldn't believe the country we were able to get through! There was no bike or Quad to be seen and we haven't even got our feet wet -no one got stuck -yet!

When we got onto the track where 4x4's go in the not so rainy months, of course we couldn't help ourselves but to take the worst possible track, and that's where our little snatch strap came in handy. Of course I had to lose my pair of thongs as I sunk up to my bum into the mud trying to hand our mate the strap to pull him out, but it was fun nevertheless.

The good thing with a Max is they never really get bogged, they might just spin the wheels but as soon as it moves a bit off you go again! We never needed our winches at all and it was a really good arvo out and about.

More to come....

2010 Update

2010 is here and we are starting the year with a freshen up of our website and some news from our suppliers.

The lastest word from Recreative Industries, the manufacturers of the mighty Max all terrain vehicles, is that they will soon be releasing a new orange upper body for the Max II. This is sure to be a hit with mining and construction, and anyone looking for something a bit different. We will post a photo as soon as they become available.

They are also extending the production of the limited edition royal blue Max II, which proved very popular in the US last year.

The camo body colour available for Max II and Max IV has been replaced by olive drab also for 2010.

We have a shipment due in late February with some of the last camo machines available, so be quck!

The big news from Mudd-Ox is the addition of the diesel powered 8X8 to the 2010 line up. It is fitted with a 40HP Kubota 4 cylinder turbo diesel engine, and is sure to be one very powerful machine. With a host of upgrades on all 2010 machines including direct driven hydraulic pumps instead of the CVT driven system, size 60 duplex chains throughout, and a quick change sprocket system for altering the final drive ratio to suit the machines application, the 2010 Mudd-Ox will be the one to beat in the 8X8 market.

So, what are you waiting for? With the dollar remaining strong now is a good time to secure a great deal on any Max or Mudd-Ox Amphibious all terrain vehicle.

New Max ATV Australia Blog

We're replacing the forum with a blog. We wanted to kill two birds with one stone.

A place to put photo's and news up, and a place for Max users to comment.

Wayne will be posting here shortly with the latest news, and your comments are most welcome.
